Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using advanced security tools and technologies.
• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Lead investigations of security breaches, providing in-depth analysis and working with internal teams to implement preventative measures.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant regulations.
• Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and multi-factor authentication systems.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement security solutions, ensuring protection across all systems and applications.
• Stay informed of emerging cyber threats, conducting research and ensuring proactive defense mechanisms are in place.
• Provide training and support to employees on cybersecurity best practices, raising awareness of potential risks.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security or a similar IT security role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and incident response tools.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security incident management.
• Familiarity with cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.) and network security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to critically analyze and respond to security threats in real time.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are highly desirable.
